Paula Countryman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a career spanning 25+ years in working with individuals and families who’ve experienced trauma in their lives. Her work has included expertise in Hospice social work, family strife needing mediation, Sand Tray/Play therapy, parent education, Children in foster care, couples and folks struggling with life transitions. She brings her lived experience and professional expertise into her work with her clients knowing what it feels like to walk a difficult path in life. Paula works with individuals and couples of all ages.
Paula has a heart for holistic practices to serve the whole person in her work. She creates a peaceful yet affirming and accepting environment for her clients while also being direct. She knows what its like to have both failures and successes in life, to move forward and backward, and that life is a journey down a road that is sometimes smooth and other times rocky with potholes. She joins clients on their journey down that road for as long as they need to achieve their goals.
Outside of the therapy room you will find Paula paddle boarding, practicing Yoga, playing golf or traveling to new destinations.
